I was on the hunt this weekend for a multi-purpose vase. I was heading to a housewarming and could not show up with out flowers, but i wanted to put them in something useful after the fact. I love to use things that maybe you might not think to use for other things, like flowers. I could go totally wild with containers and maybe I’ll show those in a later post, but for now i found these basics that are in stores now. I’m a personal fan of the red pitcher from Fishs Eddy, they have so many vintage inspired pieces, as does Anthropologie with their mercury glass.
If your looking for some less vintage looking vases, Ikea is a good source and well as my favorite place Z Gallerie. How cute are these Onion vases? plus, they come in other colors too. Love them! There are a lot of sources for vessels and vases, just check out your local stores and keep in mind if you find something you love and even though it might not be a vase, could you use it as one? By the way, I ended up using a bright blue fiesta ware pitcher for my housewarming gift.
