It’s been a crazy start to the wedding season and we’ve been busy creating not only beautiful flowers but some pretty fun stuff for our brides. Since the craze this year is mason jars I thought I’d share the fun we’ve been having with them. Amanda came to us and asked us for something different to hang for her ceremony – she was getting married at The World Forestry Center and her theme was country/rustic chic with, of course, mason jars! So we put some thought into it and we were pretty excited about what transpired and how beautiful this chandelier turned out.
The pics with the blue sky are the test pics, but I just love the blue background and the way the jars glowed against the blue sky. We had to use LED lights since candles are not allowed in this venue, but it still had the feel and look of candles. The bottom left picture is the chandelier hanging at the venue – I took the pic before I left setting up, so it was not dark yet. The bride now has this cool reminder of her wedding day hanging in her backyard from a tree. Thanks Amanda for giving us creative freedom – we had so much fun creating this and all your beautiful florals, which we’ll post next week!
