  • Welcome!

I'm Lisa, owner and designer here at Bloomsberry Floral. While my background is in graphic design, I fell in love with floral design and have been creating floral arrangements for weddings and events for well over 10 years. It has been a great accomplishment to see my work published in Oregon Bride, Portland Bride and Groom, Style Me Pretty, Elizabeth Ann Designs and others. Still today, the thing I enjoy the most is seeing the smiles that flowers bring to people.

I hope you will stay a while and enjoy the site. Have a look at my current and past blog posts, feel free to browse my portfolio for inspiration, or leave a comment; I would enjoy hearing from you.

Beautiful Summer Baby Shower

I had the pleasure of working with Annette of Swanky Tables again and this time it was a fun, summertime bee themed baby shower! Yellow, white and gray…oh my! Plus milk glass…sigh, it just gets better and better, for me anyway.  I had so much fun creating the flowers, I could not wait to see what Annette could come up with for the rest!

The milk glass was so fun to collect. Every time I found a piece, I kind of got giddy like a little school girl.

OK, I  just need to say that Annette has an amazing gift to turn your vision into what you dream about. The details and little touches are so much of who she is. I mean really, what summer would be complete without lemonade? But not just any lemonade…a lemonade bar, with fresh berries and mint to add!

Sweet Treats anyone? Why, yes please!  Amber of Le Cookie Monkey always does the most delish desserts and those cute little salted chocolates with the bee design on them came from Christina of A Yen for Chocolate. Yum, Yum!

Springtime Wedding

It’s rare that I get to use springtime flowers for a wedding. When Rachel came to me and told me her vision, I truly thought how refreshing and fun. She wanted planters with springtime flowers and bright colors. The reception was held at the always popular Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. I love the rustic nature of this place so much – the weathered wood, exposed beams, the octagonal shape… pretty much everything. Rachel was a fun bride to work with and I had fun creating a bright, spring fling for her. Best of luck to you Rachel and David!

Melody & Michael’s Wedding

I had the pleasure of meeting Melody & Michael  awhile back and from the very instant I met them, I really felt their love for each other. I was so excited to create Melody’s vision…a soft, romantic vintage theme using her mother’s old books from her childhood and all the vases that the bride had collected over the year. Hotel deLuxe was the perfect location for her vintage theme – the wedding was held in the screening room and the reception was held in Gracie’s. I really love how this wedding all came together and will be updating  this post when I get photos back from the photographer.

Thanks to my helper Jenn for helping me out and who actually carries her camera with her all the time, since I almost always forget mine.

Oh my goodness. You certainly captured the “soft and vintage” feel with these arrangements. Great job. These photos are so beautiful.
